To the Cathedral Square of Santa Maria del Fiore, the first thing that comes to mind is the San Giovanni Baptistry, an octagonal building. There is no specific construction time, but it was probably completed between 1059 and 1128. Dante and many Renaissance leaders and members of the Medici family were baptized here. Until the end of the 19th century, all Florence Catholics were baptized here.

The baptismal hall is best known for its gilded relief on the east side of the gate. It is known as the "gate of heaven" that opened the Renaissance. It is said that the wishes of those who touched the Golden Gate will be realized one by one, but unfortunately, now it is protected. Golden Gate, the authenticity has been exhibited in the Church Museum. What we saw outside was an imitation, although it was a copy, but it was not difficult to see the ingenious design and craftsmanship of Lorenzo Ghiberti.
